Sandra Macias Injured By Intoxicated Driver In McCracken County

This Lone Oaks, Kentucky auto accident was caused by a drunk driver, and resulted in injury to another driver. Persons injured by drunk drivers have strong legal claims for personal injury damages (LINK to damages information) under Kentucky law.

This car wreck happened at 1:00 a.m. Sunday morning, when Ricardo Ramos, age 20, which is below the minimum drinking age for Kentucky, pulled off of St. John Drive, in McCracken County, onto US Hwy 45. In doing so, Mr. Ramos pulled into the pathway of Sandra Macias, age 25, and caused this wreck. Mr. Ramos failed to yield the right-of-way to Ms. Macias. Both Ramos and Macias were taken to the hospital for their injuries, where it was determined that Mr. Ramos had been under the influence of alcohol when the accident happened. He has since been criminally charged. In addition to criminal charges, Mr. Ramos and his insurance company can be civilly liable for the legal damages suffered by Ms. Macias from this accident.
